Some of the digitized cookbooks on this website contain outdated words and descriptors that are offensive and inappropriate. Many of the sources were published during points in Canadian history when dehumanizing language was commonplace. While we have included the sources in their original state to preserve historical authenticity, their content does not reflect the beliefs or opinions of the University of Guelph or the website’s contributors.
