Introduction

In the cookbook Honey and Some of the Ways it May be Used, authors C.B. Gooderham and H.L. Heeney dive into the different uses for honey. The cookbook's primary goal is to demonstrate the versatility of honey and how it can be an ingredient in many dishes and pastries. The book provides an array of recipes that use honey in different ways, and beautifully demonstrates how honey can be adapted into many different types of food. The cookbook is divided into ten subsections, including Bread and Rolls; Cakes and Cookies; Candy and Confections; Canning; Pies, Puddings and Ice Cream; Muffins and Doughnuts; Breakfast Fruits Sweetened with Honey; Marmalade and Fruit Butters; Honey Sandwich Fillings; and a section for miscellaneous items. The organization of the cookbook allows the reader to easily find and follow the recipe they wish to recreate.
