A.J. Casson, famous Canadian Artist, was the art director for the Margene Recipes Cookbook. Casson is best known for his work in the famous Group of Seven. Thanks to the information collected by Elizabeth Driver in her book, we know that A.J. Casson had some input or may have designed the images and the foil wrapping of the book himself, which makes the Margene recipe cookbook even more important to Canadian history because of the work done by a famous Canadian artist.
