The cookbook Chinese Recipes is written V-H “The King of Sauces” Quality Food Products LTD founded by Vincent Harrison to integrate more than just traditional North American cuisine, but to also share the experience of Asian cuisine throughout North America. V-H Quality Food Products LTD’s is a company established in 1950's and is situated out of Duvernay Montreal. Although the specific author of the book is unknown, the cookbook being analyzed is the 10th edition cookbook produced by V-H Quality Food Products LTD. Unfortunately, the other cookbooks are unavailable and without a clear indication, we are unable to determine when the books were written. These hand-sized thirty page cookbooks were used to aid the integration of Asian cuisine into Canada at the time and could be found at markets, stores or may have been done through mail order. The cookbook is designed to bring and integrated taste of delicious Chinese cuisine to North American homes.
