The cookbook My Hundred Favorite Recipes was published at Oconomovoc, Wisconsin, Aylmer, Ontario, New York and Seattle, Washington by Domestic science department Carnation Milk Company in 1924. It is about cooking dishes with the implementation of products from Carnation Milk Product Company, particularly, the Carnation evaporated milk. The dimensions of this cookbook are 12.6cm in width, 17.8cm in length, and 2cm thick. It was made of card paper and there are two staples to tighten the pages. Although majority dishes of this recipe are desserts, it is organized in three main parts which are appetizers, entry and desserts. In detail, it contains appetizer like soup and salad; the main course, meat and fish, miscellaneous, sandwiches, and pies; for the sides, bread and biscuits; after all of that, it is the dessert such as ice-cream, cakes and candies. In each specific section, there is an image of that category. The method of preparation was standard measurement using cups, teaspoons, tablespoons and quarters. All the ways of making these dishes was first to prepare the ingredients exactly like the recipe presented, and then to process the ingredients. The cooking tools varied, such as pans, pots, spoons, kitchen knives, oven and refrigerator. Moreover, the cookbook provided a list of daily intakes of nutrients on page 30 to 31 including baby feeding from one day to a year old. Finally, the language that cookbook was written was in English and the tongue of this cookbook is instructional, there is question sentences in this cookbook.
