In 1981 Carol Brock had a thought that maybe fruits and vegetables are the perfect item to use for a decoration. Once she began creating them and realizing how beautiful they looked on her table, she had Irena Chalmers publish her book “Edible Table Arrangements” in the United States. She is an author that makes her cookbook extremely easy to read and it makes it simple for the reader to not lose track. Edible Table Arrangements was only Forty-Eight pages long but was filled with an extreme amount of colour, images, and easy to follow instructions. Carol Brock was ultimately a very organized person with good taste in decorations who wanted to share the beauty not only with herself but with everyone. She created this tradition, and you see lots of her recipes on people’s tables during Thanksgiving, even until today.
