Introduction

The Pleasures of Your Food Processor by Norene Gilletz was published in 1994 by Gourmania Inc. in Toronto, Canada. The cookbook has a total of 363 pages and measures 25 cm by 21 cm. The hardback design of this book is highly unique; it has ridges that fold out, allowing the book to stand up on its own. Although it claims a plastic page protector is included, this copy does not have one. The overall condition of the book is good, but it shows normal signs of wear and tear such as loose pages and minor stains. However, on almost every single page there are handwritten annotations such as further proofreading edits, additions, subtractions, and modifications to recipes, new recipes, and even warnings and notes directed to the note-writer. This copy was donated by Norene Gilletz personally. It is signed but it is not 100% clear who wrote the notes, though they are presumably hers. This book is unique in its breadth of recipes contained, as well as for the reference book style it is written in. This style means its intended to be consulted on a case by case basis if one wants to see how to make certain dishes food processor friendly, as well as a general introduction to the many ways a food processor can be useful in the kitchen.
