The “Turkey-Filled Crepes” recipe calls for flour, water, milk, eggs, salt, and oil to be blended together for the crepes. Onions, garlic, butter, parsley, turkey, sour cream, salt, mustard, and marjoram are blended together to make the filling. The recipe is so simple and easy to make that it does not require both a liberated method and a conventional method of instructions. The cook is encouraged to make use of left-over turkey for this recipe to reduce food waste. They are also advised that after these crepes have been made, they can be stored in the freezer and taken out as needed. Two serving from frozen methods are provided using the microwave and the conventional range to re-heat the crepes. This recipe is very concise with no extra information about Ojakangas’s preferences or special tips. The brief but detailed instructions are an example of the many recipes in this cookbook that had previously been published in the newspaper. The concise information would also be preferred by a liberated cook who only wants to read the facts about the recipe and does not have time to read the filler.
