Chinook Planks, a former company in Seattle Washington, created the Plank Roasting Cookbook. Chinook Planks does not have a storefront or specific location they sell from. All cookbooks are sold through Amazon and other online cookbook stores. Chinook Planks also sell a second cookbook entitled Planked Seafood Cookbook, additionally they used to sell the cedar planks that are used in these books.

Chinook Planks' patent

They filed for a patent on their planks in 1990 securing their design. I was unable to find any more information on Chinook Planks due to the lack of results online. The phone number and website provided in the cookbook are no longer available. This leads me to believe the company no longer exists. Regardless of the company no longer being in business, the name still holds significant meaning in history.
