The Lemon Pie cookbook ingredients makes four servings. To make this you will need 8 graham crackers, reduced-calorie margarine, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon plus 1 ½ fresh lemon juice, 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon lemon peel and ½ cup skimmed milk. To prepare you will need to preheat oven, you will mainly need small and medium sized mixing bowls, pie plates and an electric mixer. You will need to prepare the crust by combining the graham crumbs and margarine together, with a spoon press the mixture into a pie plate then bake for 12 minutes at 325F and let cool after. The instructions for the filling include your mixing bowls, a small and medium mixing bowl. Beat margarine with egg yolk and sugar. Beat in lemon juice, flour and lemon peel then skimmed milk. In another bowl, high speed beat egg whites till stiff, fold whites with lemon mixture. Turn the lemon mixture into the cooled crust and bake at 325F for 25 to 30 minutes. Transfer to a baking rack and let cool. The purpose is to include desert in the cookbook while also keeping desert low-calorie and fresh.

This recipes instructions, preparation and methods serves 2 people, this recipe can be doubled for the number of people you are serving. The ingredients for this recipe include, ¾ ounce uncooked quick oats, 10 ounces halibut fillets, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, 1 garlic clove, ¼ cup white wine, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons canned chicken broth, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, ¾ teaspoon Dijon-style mustard, 1/8 teaspoon horseradish, dash pepper, ½ cup of each pared and julienne-cut parsnip, and carrot. The methods used and paring, julienning, blending, chopping, cooking, mixing and you will need to prepare by chopping earlier. The instructions are as followed, blend the oats into crumble then transfer onto a wax paper. In skillet heat oil on medium-high, add fillet till cooked and turn once. Once the fish is golden brown you can move on, in that skillet sauté garlic; add remaining ingredients except parsnip and carrot. Reduce heat to medium till cooked fully, after stirring add parsnip and carrot, stir to coat with sauce. After vegetables are cooked it is ready to be served with the fish. The purpose of this recipes is for you to receive an idea of what type of style cooking is in the cookbook, healthy well-rounded meals.
