Author Lewis A. Coffin

Lewis A. Coffin is an author of a couple different works of literature. He was a pediatrician in California, and focused his work on educating new parents on proper child rearing. As mentioned in the beginning of his cookbook The Grandmothers Conspiracy Exposed, Coffin had discussions with many mothers over the years to get an insight on how they are raising their children health wise, and what they are being told is the proper way to care for their children.

Although not many of his works are easy to retrieve, there is evidence that he did take part in some pediatric research. For example, he published an article discussing the topic of taking temperatures of children during routine checkups. This piece of writing along with his cookbook have a similar connection of voicing Coffin’s unpopular opinions that are pediatric related. We can infer from this that he spent his career being a practicing pediatrician, along with doing research and publishing on the side to properly inform others of his findings.
