Roberts, Sam. “Vicki Lansky, Author of Advice Books for Parents, Dies at 75.” The New York Times.

Vicki Lansky, born Vicki Rogosin on January 6, 1942, was an American author and publisher who was best known for you infant and toddler cookbook, Feed Me! I’m Yours. Moving from her home city of New York to Minnesota, Lansky was a new stay at home mother with an interest in childhood nutrition. After the local success of her 1974 cookbook she began the process of national publication but was denied by numerous publishing companies. This inspired her and her husband at the time, Bruce Lansky, to develop their own publishing company, Meadowbrook Press. It was here where Lansky published her book nationally which eventually reached the New York Times best sellers list. Since then, she has published a multitude of other books tailored to the nutritional health of children as well as magazine and newspaper articles and newsletters. After her divorce in the early 1980s, Meadowbrook Press was left in the hands of Bruce Lansky as Vicki began writing for other publishers. It wasn’t until 1983 when Lansky became the sole founder of her own company, Book Peddlers where she almost exclusively published her own work as well as republishing the books she wrote previously. She eventually sold Book Peddlers in 2016 just before her death in early January 2017.
