The co-authors of The Au Naturel Tofu Manual: tofu recipes for families are Chloé and Abraham Fox. Unfortunately, there was no information included in the cookbook about the authors. Abraham Fox was born in 1940 in Montréal and sadly passed away in October 2019. Abraham and Chloé were married and have a large family together. They enjoyed many hobbies together including enjoying nature, animals, and gardening. They were members of the Montréal Jewish community and owners of a health food store in Montréal called AU NATUREL-Traditional Foods. In their leisure time, they enjoyed making and sharing music, and referred to themselves as Musicians Safta and Saba. Safta and Saba are the Hebrew words for grandmother and grandfather, respectively. Chloé Fox is also the author of another cookbook, Intuitive Cooking, which is a guide to eating healthy with a vegan lifestyle.
