Ricky Friesem is an influencer, a journalist, a poet as well as a terrific cook who immigrated to Israel 47 years ago to pursue her writing career. She was motivated to move to Israel to fulfill her parents’ dream of converting from Zionism to Aliyah. She is originally Canadian and American as both her parents were from each country. During her time in Israel, she published five poetry collections in English as well as two cookbooks: Fruits of the Earth and Joy of Israel.
